Description
A wedge for dual array probes, where one array transmits and the other receives. Both sit at a 3.7° roof angle and focus at 15 mm, and the inspection runs on a 55° longitudinal wave. This is the answer for austenitic welds, claddings and coarse-grained materials, where a shear wave drowns in noise.
Features
- Transmit-receive (TR) layout — smaller dead zone right below the surface
- 3.7° roof angle, 15 mm focus
- 55° refraction, longitudinal wave
- Water feed, adjustment and yoke mounting points
- DP11 housing
