Description
The DSC51 is used primarily for pipeline weld inspection. It is an electric chain scanner, it can be fitted with two probes and it also works on non-magnetic materials. The standard version has two encoders: one on the chain records the position on the nozzle, the other on the probe stepping axis — which improves the accuracy and reliability of the results. The larger the pipe diameter, the greater the risk of drift during inspection.
