Description
TRL probes have separate transmitting and receiving elements, refract the beam at an angle and create a defined focal distance in the component under test. All refraction angles are longitudinal waves and can be made for any angle that is possible within ultrasonic theory.
Features
- No initial pulse dead zone
- Less scattering, higher SNR in high-attenuation materials
- All refraction angles are longitudinal waves, any angle customisable
- Probe face machined to workpiece shape: AID, CID, AOD, COD
- Two performance types: PL (universal) and R (high performance)
Specifications
- Example models: DA1.5C20X34LA45FS80-IAOD980, DA2C15X25LA45FD40, DA2C8X14LA45FD25
