Description
The two-axis XY automatic scanner is used for automated phased array ultrasonic inspection of composite panels and aluminium and steel plates. It uses four vacuum suction cups — it is simple to operate, stable and reliable. Two DC motors drive the scanning axis and the stepping axis, giving two-dimensional scanning. Once the step and scanning area are set, the inspection runs automatically.
